Sales and earnings for first quarter 2010

  * Net sales amounted to MSEK 24.6 (21.9)
  * Operating profit amounted to MSEK 0.2 (- 0.4)
  * Profit after tax amounted to MSEK 0.1 million (- 0.6)
  * Earnings per share amounted to 0.00 (- 0.2)
  * Order intake increased to MSEK 23.8 (13.6)
  * Gross margin increased due to quality and production improvements

Comments from CEO:
"Increased sales and improved margins compared with the previous quarter,
combined with continued strong cost controls, resulted in an operating profit
during the first quarter,"
says Per Holmberg, CEO of JLT Mobile Computers.

"Recovery of the U.S. market and the start of successive deliveries of
customer-specific projects resulted in increased sales and orders. Sales in
Europe remained weak during the period."

"Continuing efforts to improve the quality processes and increase production
efficiencies have resulted gradual improvement in gross margin compared with the
previous quarter. The strong growth of the Swedish Krona has affected the gross
margin negatively, compared with same period last year. Compared with fiscal
year 2009, gross margin increased from 23.3 per cent to 26.9 per cent."

"Increased lead times for components together with a weak order book affects
negatively the supply capacity; and, sales for the second quarter will fall
below the first quarter's results. Work is continuing on focusing the product
range and on reducing lead times for selected products which in the longer term
will result increasing supply capacity."

"The long-term need for rugged computers for harsh environments continues to
grow, providing a good long-term growth potential for JLT Mobile Computers."
